Born in Germany, Marie first came to Ireland for her Erasmus year during university. It was during her time at Trinity College Dublin that she developed her love for research and she went on to complete her Masters and PhD at Trinity. Following the completion of her PhD, she moved to the UK where she started her career working at Kantar Millward Brown, before moving brand-side taking the role of Consumer and Shopper Insights Manager at Beiersdorf UK. In 2021 she moved back to Ireland to join Sky as a Senior Research Manager and later moved into her current position as Research Controller, managing a team of 3 and leading all research projects for Sky and NOW in Ireland.
