Mary joined MCCP in 2014 as Research Manager, having started her research career in RED C Research and Marketing. Mary is a dualist research with a specialist knowledge in qualitative research. With a background in the humanities complemented with a master’s in Social Psychology from Queen’s University Belfast Mary has a clear understanding of what drives people’s behaviour and why people do the things they do.
Mary has benefitted from additional training in strategy from APG - The Home of Young Planners, where she learned the structures and processes which turn insight into brilliant strategy. Within the Discovery team at MCCP Mary works across a number of qualitative project types including advertising concept and copy testing, proposition testing, innovation development and explorative attitudes and behaviour research.
Mary also works on quantitative projects, many of which are multi-country projects, including market and consumer segmentation, usage and attitudes studies, and brand score card projects. Mary is driven by a genuine interest and curiosity in people and their stories. Her authentic approach to research uncovers the most useful insights which help brands grow.
