Laura is Joint Managing Director in JWT Folk. In her role, Laura is responsible for driving the strategic direction and growth of the agency with the leadership team.
Along with driving a number of initiatives such as new business and operational efficiencies, Laura has a very hands on approach in the agency leading on a number of the agency’s clients. Laura is passionate about helping brands engage with consumers and leading teams to the most culturally insightful ideas and ultimately creating work that delivers commercial return for her clients. She has a proven track record in driving business growth, brand transformation and developing & growing long-term client and industry relationships.
Prior to working in JWT Folk, Laura has spent nearly 20 years as part of and leading teams in a number of creative agencies. She started her career as an Account Executive in OgilvyOne, then progressed to Account Manager in YoungEuroRSCG (now Havas Dublin) then onto Business Director in OgilvyDublin and TBWA/Dublin. During this time, she worked on multiple award-winning campaigns for effectiveness and creativity and has extensive industry experience with brands in a range of sectors including Electric Ireland, Bord Gais Energy, Dunnes Stores, Littllewoods Ireland, Irish Life, Ulster Bank, Bulmers/Magners, Deep RiverRock, Brennans, Tayto, McDonald’s Ireland and BMW.

Laura has a MSc in Advertising (DIT), BA in Economics and Politics (UCD) and a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing (DMI).
