The Marketing Society of Ireland is proud to present a rare opportunity to hear from Jan Gooding, one of the UK’s most prominent and outspoken marketing leaders.
Jan is Chair of LGBT equality charity Stonewall and Chair of PAMCO, the governing body which oversees audience measurement for the published media industry. She is also a recipient of the ‘The Drum Lifetime Achievement’ Award in 2019.
Our conversation with Jan Gooding will look at the value to an organisation of developing an inclusive brand and the opportunity cost of not doing so. Is it important? Does it deliver brand value? Ultimately, does it deliver to the bottom line? Walking through her career to date, Jan will explore the role of brand purpose and it's relationship with organisation.
Jan’s blue-chip corporate pedigree includes spells with BT, British Gas, Diageo and Unilever and, most recently, as Group Brand Director at Aviva. In her final role at Aviva as the company’s first Global Inclusion Director, Jan was responsible for introducing the ground-breaking policy of equal parental leave.
