How to Crack Christmas

Following its success in 2018, the Marketing Society Future Council has decided to revive this firm festive favourite with the help of our sponsor, Dublin Live.

On the 21st November, we will be screening three of the most iconic Irish Christmas ads from the past few years. We will be joined by the creative minds who made them possible, and will hear their stories from initial brief to end result.

It's going to be a Christmas cracker - with actual Christmas crackers! There will also be food, drinks, spot prizes, chats, catch-ups, possibly dancing....there isn't exactly a dancefloor, but how you choose to celebrate a spot prize win is up to you!

Kindly sponsored by Dublin Live, the festive event takes place in Tramline, Dublin 2 on the 21st November 2019 from 6pm til late. Guests are invited to take a look behind the scenes of some of the most prominent and emotive Christmas campaigns to date in Ireland, delve into the creative minds responsible for bringing the ‘there’s-something-in-my-eye’ style storytelling to our screens and listen as they recall their journey from initial brief to the end result.

Speakers include:

  • Ann-Marie O’Brien – Campaign Manager, Three Ireland
  • John Anslow- Advertising Manager, Aldi Ireland
  • Eamon Sharkey – Global Head of Fundraising & Marketing, GOAL
  • Catriona Campbell – Managing Director,The Public House
